It seems a day doesn’t go by without the Kardashians making the news.
Yesterday we had the pregnancy semi-nude selfie Kim posted of her growing bump on Instagram (read BabyCentre blogger Lucy Dixon’s post). And in the same week, it has been reported Kim and Kanye have decided on a baby name for their growing bubba.
Not to disappoint – apparently they’ve chosen Easton West according to reports on HuffPost! They have a daughter called North West, so see what they did there?! Snigger. I was kinda hoping they would choose West West to be honest. Maybe they’ll choose that for baby number three?
I like the name and think it’s actually rather entertaining they have a theme for their children’s names – I like a theme and think had they gone for something more mainstream it might’ve been a bit strange next to North. However, of course, this could all be hot air and actually Kim may push out that lovely little baby and decide to call it John! Time will tell.
The name Easton (which does mean East) has it’s origin is Scottish. It’s seen a rise in popularity in recent years as a first name, but traditionally has been seen as a surname. So if the couple do choose it for their baby, they’ll be following a growing trend of using a surname for a first name.
