Kim Kardashian had no idea her husband was going to announce he was running for president during the Video Music Awards in August.
“I did not. That was news to me,” Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres during an interview Tuesday. “That wasn’t a discussion in our household. I don’t know if that was planned, and I just didn’t know about it, or if he came up with that idea right then and there.”

But she said West is serious about running.
