Kanye West tweets an ambiguous date. Could it be the release date of his new album?
Yesterday (May 2), Kanye West took to his blank Twitter account and tweeted the words ‘June Eighteen’. What does it mean? Well, the tweet prompted speculation that the date is the release date of his forthcoming untitled sixth studio album.
The date could also mean a new single could be arriving, as it was recently reported the album is complete and it has been played to his label Def Jam. The album, still yet to be titled, is rumoured to be much “darker” than his previous work.
Mr West has been confirmed to be appearing on as musical guest on the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 18. The rapper previously appeared on the show back in 2010 when he was promoting his fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Amongst many other reasons, the date could also be Kim Kardashian’s due date! Who knows? We’ll just have to wait and see!
